Michelle Amshoff, President of Healthsync, is a recognized wellness and employee benefits consultant specializing in health plan cost containment strategies and performance solutions.
Michelle has devoted over 25 years to the healthcare industry. Prior to starting Healthsync in 2006, Michelle was Area President for Gallagher Benefits Services from 2009 - 2014. Prior to taking the post at Gallagher Michelle was President of Creative Benefit Solutions, a privately held and operated Employee Benefit Consulting firm located in Louisville, KY. She began Creative Benefit Solutions in 1998 after spending 4 years at Mercer where she ran the Louisville Employee Benefits Division and 4 years at Humana where she was a senior sales consultant. With her experience and tenure Michelle has worked with employers ranging in size from 2 employees to 10,000 employees, including Fortune 500 companies, non-profit entities, healthcare facilities and higher education institutions. Her value proposition is the translation of experience into effective, thoughtful consulting advice focused on achieving business solutions specific to each client of Healthsync.
Michelle graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in accounting, where she played on the women’s tennis team as a scholarship athlete. She devotes her time not only to work, but her 2 children, Trace (18) and Cassie (14), their school activities and year round sporting events, and her husband Jay of 20 years.
Michelle is also involved in Mothers on a Mission (supporting St Joseph Children’s Home), Habitat for Humanity, St Patrick Parish, Brown Cancer Center and was named Business First’s 40 under 40 in (2007).
